Uyghur Turkish student Abdullah Pakzat represented Turkey with the medal he won at the World Mathematics Invitational held in Malaysia.
Uyghur Turk student Abdullah Pakzat represented Turkey in the World Mathematics Invitational competition, which was held in Malaysia on July 13, 2024, and was attended by successful students in mathematics selected from 22 countries, and won a bronze medal.
Abdullah had previously been among the 30 most successful students in the Mathematical Kangaroo competition, in which more than ten thousand students from different parts of the world participated.
Abdullah, who is only 10 years old, is not only very successful in mathematics, but also has command of several programming languages. Can write complex programs in languages such as Python and C/C++. Additionally, he teaches Python to his peers within the scope of the UyghurSTEM education program.

World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) is an international competition founded by Taiwan in which successful students in mathematics participate. It aims to bring together institutes and organizations that strive to promote and popularize mathematics worldwide.
In the World Mathematics Invitational competition, students can expand their worldviews, experience different cultures, and thus expand their horizons as well as their future by interacting with other mathematics-loving students representing their countries.
