In East Turkistan, which is under the occupation of the atheist Red Chinese, all kinds of religious worship are forbidden, and it is forbidden to teach the Quran and religious information, even to their own children.
In the «Kunaşehir police archives», it is stated that brothers Sattar Kadir and Yusuf Ahmet Kadir were sentenced to 7 and 10 years in prison for receiving illegal religious education, and that their mother Seylihan Rozi provided this illegal education. Although it is stated in the archive that Seylihan Rozi is under arrest, no information is given about how many years she was sentenced to. As a result of the research on this subject, it was determined that a neighbor of Seylihan Rozi was also given a total of 17 years in prison for “providing illegal religious education” for 3 days.
In this archive, it is recorded that Seylihan Rozi, the mother of Settar Kadir and Yusuf Ahmet Kadir, provided “illegal religious education” between 2004-2008, and that her mother’s neighbor Yakup Hidayet provided “illegal religious education” for 3 days on June 6, 2006. In order to clarify the current status of Seylihan Rozi, who is reportedly under arrest, and what the punishment for her “crimes” will be, the Free Asia Radio (RFA) reporter called the relevant bodies and individuals in Kashgar Konaşehir.
An official who spoke to the RFA reporter but did not want to reveal himself explained that Seylihan Rozi, who was suspended due to “illegal religious activity,” was actually registered in the Saybağ village of Konaşehir. The reporter, who contacted the authorities in the Saybağ village, confirmed that Seylihan Rozi’s two sons were sentenced to 7 and 13 years in prison, and that the reason for the sentence was receiving “illegal religious education” from their mother. However, he did not provide information about Seylihan Rozi’s fate. Another officer announced that Seylihan Rozi’s neighbor Yakup Hidayet also received “illegal religious education” and was sentenced to a total of 17 years in prison for “underground religious education.” Nurali Nurakhun, 22, who currently works as an engineer in an aluminum factory in Turkey, testified that his father sent him to Egypt in September 2015 to study and that he was sentenced to 21 years in prison when he returned home after 3 months because he took the 12-year-old child of one of his acquaintances abroad to Egypt to study. It was also documented that those who “illegally provide religious education” to a child are serving 7 years in prison, and that Ayşemhan Abdulla, who sent 3 of her children to a Quran course 20 years ago in the Karaağaç village of the Gulca district, was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
