Uyghur businessman was detained in Kyrgyzstan

The well-known Uyghur businessman Tursuntay Salimov, owner of the Medina Market in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, was reportedly detained by Kyrgyz security forces on October 9th.
According to reports in the Kyrgyz media, an announcement from the Pervomaisky District Court stated that he was taken into custody on suspicion of "establishing/joining an illegal organization" under Article 261 of the Kyrgyz Criminal Code and that he will remain in custody until his trial on December 9th.
It is believed that the arrest of businessman Tursuntay Salimov is related to the murder of Kamcha Kolbayev on October 4th, as he was taken from his residence on the evening of October 7th. However, individuals who know the Uyghur businessman claim that he has no connection to the crime and was only arrested on suspicion because he was a neighbor of Kolbayev.
HE WAS ARRESTED ON SUSPICION
In a statement given to the journalists, Salimov's lawyer stated that Tursuntay (67) had high blood pressure, yet the court ordered his detention. During the initial hearing, where no evidence of any connection to the crime was proven, they would raise objections to his being held on suspicion due to his neighborly relationship with Kamcha Kolbayev. They also expressed their readiness to keep the media informed of any developments.
Currently, businessmen of Bishkek city are calling on Kyrgyz President Serdar Japarov and National Security Committee Chairman Kamchibek Tasiov for the release of Tursuntay Salimov, stressing that Tursuntay Salimov provides employment to thousands of people, is an open-handed, generous and charitable person, and always provides as much assistance as possible to citizens in need of help.
IT COULD BE CHINA BEHIND THE SCENES!
Tursuntay Salimov was elected as the president of the Kyrgyz Uyghur Society, the only legitimate organization representing Uyghurs in Kyrgyzstan, in March of this year. Currently, the East Turkistan diaspora is discussing their concerns regarding the incident and the possibility of Chinese pressure being involved.
