US targets two Chinese companies over forced labor practices.
The United States has banned some goods produced by two Chinese-based companies seeking to eliminate forced slave labor practices in the US supply chain, prompting Beijing to issue a warning to impose measures to protect the rights of Chinese companies.
The US Department of Homeland Security said in a statement on Tuesday that its action targets the companies Camille Group Company Limited, a manufacturer of batteries, and Chen Guang Biotech Group Limited, which manufactures spices and natural extracts.
