The British military think tank - the International Institute for Strategic Studies has released its flagship annual report, "Military Balance", which claims that the world's security environment has entered a particularly unstable state.
According to the report of the French International, the current military security situation indicates that the next decade may be more dangerous, which is highlighted by the misuse of military power by some regimes for their sovereignty claims.
The report, released on February 13, also shows that the "Age of Risk" will reshape the global defense industry model, saying that the United States and Europe have increased production of missiles and ammunition due to decades of underfunding.
Nearly two years after Russia's massive invasion of Ukraine, the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies reported that Russia had lost about 3,000 tanks in the conflict, the same number as when the war first began.
According to the annual report, which evaluates the military and defense finances of more than 170 countries, Ukraine has so far compensated for its military losses in the war with Western aid and improved the quality of its facilities in the process.
Bastian Gigerich, CEO of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, said: "Western governments are hesitant to decide whether to provide Ukraine with enough weapons to strike decisively or to prevent it from losing the war."
Fenella Mickherty, a defense economics expert at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, told Agence France-Presse that it is very important for the US to pass a bill to provide $60 billion in military aid to Ukraine.
It appears that although the US Senate approved the aid bill on February 13, it may be opposed by the majority of Republicans in the House of Representatives.
