UDTSB visit to Japan

In order to expand the front line in the East Turkistan issue and to raise awareness among different nations about the historical and real situation of East Turkistan, a delegation from the Turkey-based International East Turkistan NGOs started their visit to Japan on July 31.

President of the International Union of East Turkistan NGOs (UDTSB), Mr. Hidayat Oğuzhan, European Relations Officer, Mr. Nijat Turgun, and UDTSB Secretary General Abdurreshid Aminhaci, was welcomed by former Japanese Economy Minister Seishu Makino and the Japanese Parliament's delegation working on Tibet, Mongolia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong on the first day of the visit.

A SERIES OF MEETINGS WAS HELD
On August 1, Following the visit, Shinji Kawasaka, President of the Asia-Pacific Politics and Economy Lobbying Research Society, and Hirofumi RYU, a member of the Japan Parliamentary and International Inter-Parliamentary Alliance Against China, discussed their sensitivity to the East Turkistan issue and the common interests of the two friendly peoples and negotiated to develop solidarity.

WHY IS JAPAN IMPORTANT?
Within the scope of the visit, which will last until August 8, the Uyghur delegation met with representatives of East Turkistan NGOs in Japan, state leaders, deputies, academics, journalists, and other important figures, and China's systematic pressure against Muslims in East Turkistan and joint cooperation. are expected to be discussed.
The visit comes at a time when relations between Japan and China are becoming increasingly strained and Japan is facing security threats from China. In addition, the visit is very important to organize the East Turkistan issue in Japan.
