TikTok has begun to be banned in Turkey

Turkey has passed a bill to ban armed forces from using the Chinese app TikTok.
Turkish Sabah newspaper reported on May 30 that a bill to ban Turkish armed forces from using the Chinese app TikTok was accepted by the National Defense Committee of the Turkish Parliament.
It is reported that the use of mobile phones in the workplace poses a serious security problem because the soldiers who shared some photos related to the barracks and work areas on social media pose a security risk to Turkey. Because of this, China has implemented new regulations on dangerous apps.
The National Defense Committee of the Turkish Parliament accepted the "Proposal to Amend Laws and Certain Laws Related to Turkish Armed Forces Personnel," and various regulations on Turkish Armed Forces personnel are implemented in the proposal. Important decisions regarding the use of TikTok were made during this period. This decision was approved by the National Defense Committee of the Turkish Parliament.
According to the report, the decision aims to ensure the digital security and operational integrity of the Turkish Armed Forces, in addition to considering the impact of TikTok on military personnel and security.
Currently, the Chinese app TikTok is completely banned in India, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries, and in many countries, such as the United States, government officials are being banned from using TikTok.
