According to the German Prosecutor's Office's Espionage Case Office, there is strong suspicion that the three suspects started working for China's special agency before June 2022, and there is no clear information on when they worked in China.
According to the German Voice of English network, the three suspects were arrested by the police of the German Federal Criminal Police. The accused's homes and workplaces were also searched after the incident.
According to the news quoted in this regard, among those arrested, Thomas-R used to work as a mercenary for the Ministry of National Security, China's spy agency. He received information about newly developed technologies that could be used in the German military sector. The German prosecutor's office believes that Thomas-R used two other spies, Herwig-F and Ina-F, who opened a company in Dusseldorf to obtain relevant information.
