The "East Turkistan Youth Camp," organized by the East Turkistan New Generation Movement, began its opening program in Manisa. The camp, which continues until Tuesday, August 22, 2023, was attended by more than 120 young talents from East Turkistan, along with important guests from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Mr. Inis Amin Oğlu, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, who arrived in the area on the 2nd day of the event, engaged in discussions with the youth participants of the "East Turkistan Youth Camp".
Throughout the 3-day event, various seminars, training sessions, and social activities have captured the attention of the youth. These offerings are provided by expert instructors in the field, and they cover a range of subjects. Additionally, sports activities such as archery, shooting, boxing, self-defense techniques, art, and workshops have also garnered the participants' interest.
6. "HURRA CUP" FOOTBALL COMPETITIONS TOOK PLACE
In addition, the traditional sixth anniversary ceremony was held in Istanbul, which began the previous week and was held by the East Turkistan Sports and Development Association at the Nihad Yusor Sports Complex in the Kucukcekmece district of Istanbul. Football competitions for the "Hurra Cup" were successfully completed on August 18.
As part of the International League of Non-Governmental Organizations in East Turkistan, a total of 12 local teams applied to participate in the "Hurra Cup" football competitions, which began on August 8th with the support of other organizations.
After the playoffs, 3 teams competed in the final, and the Eynek team won first place, beating the Kalpdaşlar team, while the Anayurt team came in third place. The three winning teams were awarded money and medals to encourage their achievements.
