"The United States will continue to work with its allies and partners to condemn China and call on it to end its crimes against humanity and genocide in East Turkistan," the report said.

In a report outlining 2022's work against atrocities, the U.S. State Department issued a joint statement to the Third Committee of the U.N. General Assembly and 49 other countries, calling on China to uphold its international human rights obligations, and the U.N., calling for the implementation of the recommendations of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the return of Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities who have fled abroad to China. He stated that he had taken special measures to prevent the deportation and forced labor of Uyghurs, explained that he prevented the products obtained by forced labor from entering the American market, and explained some of the results obtained in this regard.

 

He also underlined that they will continue the above-mentioned work to defend the rights of Uyghurs.
The report submitted by the US State Department to the National Assembly also mentions the efforts made to stop all kinds of persecution in Ukraine, Yemen, Ethiopia, and other countries and regions, as well as the Uyghurs.
