The Shanghai Cooperation Organization's 2023 Tourism Year Forum was held in East Turkistan, where the genocide continues, and China has created a brand of so-called "Xinjiang is a good place".

According to the news of November 26, the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region" government and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretariat jointly held the Shanghai Cooperation Organization 2023 Tourism Year Forum, which began in the morning of November 24 at the so-called "Xinjiang" International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The forum was attended by the Secretary of the Party Committee of the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region" Ma Xingrui, and the puppet official Free Tuniyaz spoke on behalf of the so-called "Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region" Committee of the Communist Party of China and the government of the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region". In his speech, he claimed that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization had created the brand of "Xinjiang is a good place" by promoting historic achievements in various fields.

Yelran Yerkinbayov, deputy minister of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, Moslem Shahjali, head of Iran's Tourism Market Bureau, Hamad Shamimi, deputy minister of Pakistan's interior cabinet, Umer Shaziyov, chairman of the National Tourism Development Committee of Uzbekistan, Rakhman Adanov, 2nd-level consul of the Kyrgyz Embassy in China, participated in the forum. In addition to the participation of the Minister of Sports and Tourism of Belarus Serhiy Kovalchuk, the main officials, experts and representatives of tourism companies from all provinces, prefectures and cities in East Turkistan participated.

Observers say that China has created two situations in East Turkistan. On the one hand, it has openly held international meetings and invited international tourists to East Turkistan. It is said that they are preparing special fake sites for the purpose and are actively promoting propaganda that is contrary to the reality of East Turkistan.
