The shame of Pakistani scientists: "a trip to Xinjiang"

A delegation consisting of a group of religious scholars and representatives of non-governmental organizations from Pakistan began their visit to East Turkistan under the title "trip to Xinjiang (East Turkistan)". The International Union of East Turkistan organizations strongly condemned the shameful trip.

The delegation, consisting of a group of clerics and representatives of non-governmental organizations from Pakistan, at the invitation of China, arrived in East Turkistan this week and began its alleged visit.

The delegation includes president of the Pakistan Ideological Council Qibla Sadiq Ayaz, president of the International Religious Affairs Research Council of Pakistan Muhammad Israr Al-Madani, Director of the Dar Al-Quran School of Pakistan Muhammad Tayeb, vice-president of the Association of Islamic scholars of Pakistan Islam Fazil Ali Hagan, foreign affairs representative of the Islamic Development Association Qazi, Sultan Ahmed Ali, chairman of the sohibzada Center for Islamic Research, and others.

According to Chinese media, the Pakistani delegation arrived in the ancient city of Kashgar on July 17, they visited the famous Eid Kah Mosque (currently used for tourism purposes).

During a fictional visit conducted at the Eidkah mosque, the Communist Imam Muhammad Juma spoke about the stereotypes that he memorized by order of China, made false statements that members of the East Turkistan people can perform religious worship without any restrictions, and that the Chinese government respects the doctrine of ethnic groups in religious freedom; trying to hide the systematic genocide of China in East Turkistan.

On the second day of the visit, the Pakistani delegation, visiting the "White Mosque" and the so-called "Xinjiang Islamic Institute" in Urumqi, met with such Chinese religious figures (impostors) as the Communist Imam Abdul Raqib tumurnyaz.

The goal is to create the image of "happy Uyghurs"

According to reports in the Chinese media, a meeting to welcome the Pakistani delegation was held in Urumqi on July 18. The secretary of the so-called party committee of the "Xinjiang people's government" of East Turkistan, Ma Xingrui, Arken tonyaz and other people were present at the meeting. Secretary Ma Xingrui, who delivered the opening speech, said that the whole of China, especially the so-called "Xinjiang" (East Turkistan) people live in peace and harmony, as he tried to cover up the genocide in East Turkistan by claiming that happy societies with all freedoms exist here and that Western countries, especially America, are trying to control China by making up lies about the so-called Xinjiang (East Turkistan).

On the other hand, Chinese media separately met with Pakistani delegates and asked them to evaluate their imaginary trip to East Turkistan, talk about what they witnessed about the protection of national culture and religious freedom. The Pakistani delegates mostly said that "China and Pakistan are good neighbors and important partners of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor initiative, One Belt and One Road Initiative, and they want to strengthen cooperation in various fields after the so-called' trip to Xinjiang (East Turkistan)'.

The reaction of Uyghurs in the diaspora

The International Union of East Turkistan organizations stated that it strongly condemns the shameful so-called "trip to Xinjiang" of the delegation of Pakistani Muslim scholars and China's support for the policy of genocide in East Turkistan in a written press release:

"On July 18, a delegation consisting of Pakistani scholars and academics paid a visit to Chinese-occupied East Turkistan. According to the Tien Shan news agency, this delegation attended a seminar on "continuing the sinicization of Islam" in Urumqi, where Chinese officials and so-called religious figures declared that the sinicization of Islam and its integration into a socialist society is important for the long-term stability of the region and the regional modernization strategy of the CPC.

During the meeting with the secretary of the so-called "Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region" Ma Xingrui and regional president Arkin tonyaz, the visiting delegate announced that Pakistan is a good neighbor, friend and brother country of China, Pakistan is next to China, different ethnic groups in the region enjoy full religious freedom and live in harmony with the ethnic and religious policies of China. The fact is that China has been implementing genocidal assimilation policies such as concentration camps, brainwashing, Muslim bans, abortion, family separation, and state repression since the Chinese occupation in 1949. It is a well-known fact that millions of people were arrested, while millions more died.

China has been using the "sinicization of Islam policy" since 2012 to restrict Islamic practices, demolish mosques, burn the Koran, arrest religious scholars, academics and writers, legitimize its policies against Islam and cover up genocide. In addition, China is constantly trying to deceive the international community by inviting those delegates from Muslim countries with which it has good diplomatic relations to visit, showing religious events that are usually prohibited, but are held only for these delegations.

As the International Union of East Turkistan organizations, we condemn the Pakistani delegation that failed to fulfill its obligations to expose the ongoing genocide against the Muslim people of East Turkistan and defend the truth, condemn the delegation's statements in favor of the embodiment of Chinese Islam and justify China's anti-Islamic policies. We also call on Muslim scholars, Islamic organizations, associations, Islamic countries and politicians to stand side by side with the Muslim people of East Turkistan and take action to stop the ongoing genocide,"he said.
