On October 19, the President of the International Union of East Turkestan Organizations, Hedayit Allah Oghuzkhan, participated in a meeting to assess the current situation, which was chaired by the Governor of Istanbul, Dawood Ghoul.
The evaluation meeting, presided over by Istanbul's Governor Dawood Ghoul, invited the heads of non-governmental organizations, representatives of Turkish and foreign associations, and representatives of Islamic associations operating in Istanbul to attend.
