The Elishko massacre was protested in Istanbul

It is reported that at least 3 thousand people were killed in the area shelled by the Chinese army with heavy weapons, while 3 settlements were completely erased from the map.

The International Union of East Turkistan NGOs made a protest and press statement in front of the Chinese consulate in Istanbul, located in Sariyer, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Elishko massacre and the visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister to Turkey.

MORE THAN 3 THOUSAND TURKISTANIS WERE BRUTALLY KILLED
Abdul Ahad udon, secretary general of the East Turkistan human Rights Watch Association, who read the press release on behalf of the International Union of East Turkistan NGOs, said: "We have gathered here today to protest Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to Turkey, ignoring the persecution and suffering of the people of East Turkistan on the anniversary of the Elishko massacre. Wang Yi, who has been serving as China's foreign minister since 2013, was one of the government officials who condoned what happened on July 28, 2014, when the bloody Elishko massacre took place. On the first day of the Ramadan holiday, more than 3 thousand Turkistanis were brutally killed in the massacre carried out by the Chinese occupation forces shelling the city of Elishko with heavy weapons in the yarkent District of Kashgar. The sudden raid by Chinese security forces terrified East Turkistan. Thousands of armored Chinese soldiers stormed civilian homes on the first day of Eid al-Fitr using heavy weapons and tear gas. Thousands of innocent Muslim Turkistanis lost their lives in the recent raid."He said.

THEY BEGAN TO BE ACCUSED OF TERRORISM BECAUSE OF THEIR BELIEFS AND IDENTITIES
Udon stated that the massacre was a product of China's New Age policies, of which Wang Yi was also a part, "after the new anti-terrorism policy adopted by Xi Jingping in 2014, the people of East Turkistan, who had been trying to preserve their religious and national identity on their territory for centuries, began to be accused of terrorism because of their beliefs and traditions. These policies were defended on the international arena by the current Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Despite concrete evidence of genocide and tens of thousands of accusations, Wang Yi spread lies that the concentration camps were educational centers, that the people of East Turkistan were happy and prosperous, and that there was no violence from the state."He spoke.

ATTEMPTS ARE BEING MADE TO PREVENT THE LIVING OF ISLAM THROUGH PERSECUTION AND POGROMS
Stressing that the Elishko massacre was neither the first nor the last massacre committed by China in East Turkistan, udon said: "the murderer, China's occupation made it a state policy to exterminate the people of East Turkistan, whom China could not assimilate or merge with propaganda and pressure, by killing them. In addition to pressure, restrictions and propaganda, constant surveillance, and house raids have begun to increase since that date. It is clear that the attack on houses of worship, which took place during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, was aimed at preventing the presence of Islam in the territory of East Turkistan. After the Elishko massacre, it was noted that the Chinese occupation forces tried to cover up the massacre and prevent hearing of these events by arresting more than 50 thousand people around yarkent. The murderous Chinese state, which surrounded the territory and did not give any passage, hid the massacre from the public. The letter written by Abu Bakr Rahim revealed the facts against the Chinese state, which tried to prevent the announcement of the massacre. Abu Bakr Rahim, who was put on a torture chair because of this letter, was arrested on television for denying the letter and the people of East Turkistan were intimidated. Nine years after the intervention, there is still no news about the fate of the hero Abu Bakr Rahim. We are aware that Abubakar Rahim is being punished by the Chinese state for silencing public opinion.

THE CHINESE MINISTER SHOULD MAKE A STATEMENT ABOUT EAST TURKISTAN
Recalling that China is trying to destroy the language, religion, history and identity of East Turkistan, udon continued his speech as follows;

"It is the responsibility of all of us and every conscientious person to keep our memory alive, spread the oppression suffered by the people of East Turkistan to the whole world and strive for justice. We wish Allah's mercy to our martyrs who lost their lives in the Elishko massacre and patience to their families who were left behind. The suffering of our martyrs and their honorable memories will always live in our hearts and strengthen our struggle for justice. Wang Yi, as Chinese Foreign Minister, should be held accountable for the systematic repression, genocidal practices and concrete evidence that make up the allegations of crimes against humanity committed by the CPC government in the East Turkistan region and explain the current situation of East turkistanis living in the region. The Chinese government should remember its obligations to the international community on the protection of fundamental freedoms and the guarantee of human rights. Our requests from the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to share responsibility for human rights are as follows:

HE CONVEYED CHINA'S DEMANDS TO STOP THE GENOCIDE THAT IS STILL GOING ON IN EAST TURKISTAN.

Demand the release of Turkish citizens imprisoned in concentration camps in East Turkistan and the reunification of their families in Turkey.

The presence of more institutions, consulates and diplomatic bodies of the Republic of Turkey in East Turkistan and the submission of proposals for the liberation of East Turkistan from isolation.

He asked to open a consulate of the Republic of Turkey in the cities of Kashgar and Urumqi in order to protect and inform the status of Turkish citizens doing business and traveling to East Turkistan.
