The East Turkistan delegation met with the Malaysian Deputy Minister of Education

The delegation of the International Union of East Turkistan Organizations, consisting of the President of the International Union of East Turkistan Organizations, Hidayatullah Oguzkhan, and Secretary Abdul Rashid Aminhaji, met with the Malaysian Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Mustafa Sakmud, in his office on February 28, Malaysia.

During the visit, the delegation discussed with the minister the issue of the placement of Uyghur students in Malaysian universities. They also discussed the concentration camps and prisons carried out by China against the East Turkistan people, and the issue of putting the crime of genocide on the agenda in Malaysia.

On February 28, the International Union of East Turkistan Organizations delegation also met with Dato' Ahmad Azam, Senior Advisor to the Malaysian Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Human Rights Committee, and Fakhri Shamsuddin, Chairman of the Malaysian Islamic Youth Movement (ABIM).

During the meeting, the Council discussed the current situation in East Turkistan, the genocide crimes committed by China in East Turkistan, and work to organize the East Turkistan issue in Malaysia.
