Testimony of a new witness from East Turkistan (1)

In recent years, the occupying Chinese have carried out systematic genocide with the evil aim of exterminating the East Turkistan people and completely sinicizing the territory of East Turkistan. The parliaments and people's courts of a number of western countries have declared the brutal suppression of China "genocide." Also, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has determined that China's repressive actions "may constitute a crime against humanity." Some Chinese officials involved in the genocide have been punished in some way. A trade embargo has been imposed on many Chinese companies due to years of forced labor in East Turkistan. As a result, China's economy was greatly affected, and it lost the trust of foreign companies and faced internal and external pressure.

But the Chinese regime has continued to commit crimes of genocide despite the accusations from the international community and pressures against it, It has continued to commit genocide, and has increased its false propaganda about East Turkistan by spending huge sums of money. In particular, the Chinise regime established many tourist sites in various parts of East Turkistan, separated the tourist areas from the residential areas, concentration camps, and prisons, and, through false propaganda, showed East Turkistan as a peaceful and scenic tourist area, not a place where genocide is taking place. The Uyghur crafts, culture, and arts sites and museums have been prepared in the tourist areas, and they have tried to paint the image as if they are protecting the culture of the East Turkistan people. Chinese propaganda agencies have accordingly stepped up their fake propaganda.

In addition, China tried to convey to the international community that the genocide in East Turkistan and its repression policy had ended and deported a small number of people from East Turkistan. Some people who saw this were deceived by China's false propaganda. Even some Uyghurs in the diaspora began to mistakenly believe that the situation in East Turkistan had improved a little.

However, a volunteer from East Turkistan, who did not wish to mention his name, told our news department that the current situation in East Turkistan is no different from 2018, that the people are imprisoned in concentration camps and prisons under various pretexts, and that they often hear the news of those who lost their lives in prisons and camps.

Information about the current tragic situation in East Turkistan and crimes in China provided by witnesses will be presented to readers on the news network.

CHINA DEMOLISHED 17 OUT OF 18 MOSQUES IN OUR VILLAGE

In 2023, the witness, who did not want to reveal himself, was sent to a penal camp in 2017 and spent a total of three years in the camp and prison. He revealed that in 2018, the Chinese regime demolished 17 of the 18 mosques in his village within three days, leaving only one mosque. He witnessed this tragic scene after leaving the camp.

He said that in 2017, seven or eight elderly people were praying in the mosque, and only two people were praying at the moment. One of them is the person who washes the corpse, and the other is the imam of the mosque. Currently, these two people come to pray five times a day, and when they never come, the officials ask, "Why didn't you come to pray, What is your purpose, Do you have a plan?" He will face such questions. Two people were praying inside the mosque when armed police watched. Mosques are left for students to show to foreign reporters or tourists.

According to witnesses, the Chinese regime rounded up villagers and forced them to smash the doors and windows of their mosques on the first day. The next day, they opened the roof of the mosque, dismantled the beams, towers. On the third day, the walls, domes, and towers of the mosque were forced to be leveled. In the process, they abducted those who did not work or complained.

In recent years, the Chinese regime has developed and enforced so-called new laws to eradicate Islam and the Uyghurs, who have been opposing China's occupation policy. Including the announcement of the legalization of sinicizing Islam in East Turkistan in the five years from 2018 to 2022. According to the plan, China has demolished or destroyed nearly 16,000 mosques in East Turkistan so far, and converted some of the remaining mosques into bars and teahouses. The testimony of the witness also confirmed the above information to be correct.
