Support for public health from Blue Crescent

The Turkey-based Blue Crescent Humanitarian Aid Association continues to provide financial and moral support, primarily health services, to the East Turkistan people.
The East Turkistan Blue Crescent Humanitarian Aid Association is a humanitarian aid organization founded by Uyghur Turks, known for its efforts to solve the financial difficulties of the East Turkistan people, filling a great gap in the East Turkistan Diaspora since its establishment. The organization, which also carries out joint work with valuable NGOs such as IHH, has been carrying out joint work with the HCI Association in Canada on the “Student Support Program” within the scope of International Cooperations for more than a year.
During this process, it has successfully carried out the health checks and preliminary examinations of Uyghur children living in Istanbul together with pediatric specialists and medical school intern students. In addition, it provides monthly financial support to 25 Uyghur students, including orphans. In addition, with the support of the HCI Association, it supports Uyghur children in need with clothing and school supplies at the beginning of the academic year each year.
“THE EFFORTS PROVIDE CONVENIENCE TO THE PUBLIC.”
Accepting our interview on the subject, Mr. Abdullah ARMAN, Vice President of the Blue Crescent Humanitarian Aid Association, stated that the cooperation with HCI will continue until 2028, that they plan to further expand their cooperation starting next year, and that they are grateful for the support provided to Uyghur children by HCI and all humanitarian aid organizations.
Known for its work in the earthquake region on behalf of the Uyghurs during the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquake, the Turkey-based East Turkestan Blue Crescent Humanitarian Aid Association was established primarily to find solutions to various difficulties faced by the East Turkistan people in Turkey, and actively works with aid organizations both inside and outside Turkey. In addition, Blue Crescent has established the “Blue Crescent Women’s Vocational Development Center” in collaboration with the American-based Zaila Collection brand to support Uyghur women in gaining a profession and their economic initiatives.
