Secret Relationship Between Chinese Spies and Philippine Police Exposed

It has been revealed that Chinese espionage suspects donated cash and motorcycles to a city government and police in the Philippines.

According to Reuters, a pro-Chinese group led by four Chinese citizens accused of espionage in the Philippines donated cash to a city government and gifted motorcycles to two police organizations.

Based on photos, videos, and evidence discovered online by reporters, the Philippine government accused five Chinese individuals in late January of collecting photos and maps of Philippine naval forces near the South China Sea, arresting all of them on suspicion of espionage. Four of these individuals are Chinese citizens.

According to the Philippine National Bureau of Investigation, these five suspects used drones to conduct espionage activities targeting the Philippine Navy. Photos and maps of sensitive military locations and ships were found on their phones. A high-ranking official from the National Bureau of Investigation stated that if their crimes are confirmed, they could face a 20-year prison sentence.

Reuters indicated that the four individuals mentioned above are leaders of a civilian group connected to the Chinese Communist Party's United Front organization. Currently, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines has not responded to questions about this matter.
