Nation | The researcher in political science and Sino-Arab relations, Muhammad Amin Al-Uyghuri, sheds light on the suffering of the Uyghur Muslims in East Turkistan, occupied by the Chinese Communist Party. Al-Uyghuri emphasized that the suffering of Muslims in occupied East Turkistan increases as the Chinese regime gets closer to Middle Eastern countries. He explained that China works to silence the Uyghur people, exploiting the clear silence of the Arab and Islamic world towards the ongoing violations. The researcher in political science and Sino-Arab relations stated on his social media account on Twitter: "Whenever China approaches Middle Eastern countries, the suffering of Uyghur Muslims increases, and China's injustices against the people of Turkistan increase." He continued: "Either to silence the Uyghur people or to exploit the positions of Arab and Islamic countries by remaining silent and politically supporting China's crimes in its war against Islam and Muslims." A tweet from an account named "Turkistan Today" reported new arrest campaigns carried out by the Chinese Communist Party in various parts of occupied East Turkistan. It's worth noting that China has been expanding its influence and relations in the Middle East and the Arab region, and recently led an initiative to improve relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran after years of estrangement between the two countries.
