On July 17, the fourth round of the Hope Award distribution ceremony was held at the Uyghur Science and Culture Research Foundation Hall, located in the Safaköy district of Istanbul.
The event was held in cooperation with Sutuk Bugrakhan Science and Culture Foundation, East Turkistan Research Foundation, and Uyghur Science and Culture Research Foundation.
The ceremony was presided over by Abdulahed Udun, Secretary General of the East Turkistan Human Rights Watch Association.
First of all, the president of the East Turkistan Scholars Association, Associate Professor Dr. Ulimajan Bugda spoke. In his words, Hijra is not to leave the country of origin completely, and to lead a peaceful life in the land of Hijra, but to use the peaceful situation in the Hijra region to join forces and liberate the country of origin. Therefore, children should be educated on the basis of faith and belief. It is especially emphasized that it should not be trained.
The founder of the East Turkistan Research Foundation, Associate Professor Dr. Ekram, gave an opening speech. He said that it is obligatory for Muslims to study science, so teenagers should not only study science, but also be scholars in their own fields. In the past, all fields of science were in the hands of Muslims, so they dominated others, so paying attention to science is an act of worship.
After that, Omar Karihajim, vice president of the Sutuk Bugrakhan Science and Culture Foundation, spoke. He suggested that the Sutuk Bugrakhan Foundation was established in 2012 under the guidance of the late Master Abdul Hakim Khan Makhsumhajim, and since then it has been dedicated to the education of Uyghur children. Students who have achieved good results should study faith as well. It is necessary for parents to pay attention to this point.
After that, the president of the Uyghur Science and Culture Research Foundation, Abdulahed Uchkun, spoke and said that the foundation has bought a building and is working in cooperation with all organizations.
Then public figure Abdur Qadir made a speech. In addition to paying attention to learning science, the people of East Turkistan should be concerned about the current situation, and in particular, they should recognize the importance of four things, which are self-knowledge, motherhood, the living environment, and the enemy: China. He said that this science will play a role in fighting the enemy.
The person in charge of the hope building project, Dr. Adiljan from Selsuk University, talked about the purpose and goals of the Uyghur award program, and said that the completion of the exam is not only the children's work, but also the parents' problem, and that the role of the parents is very important in this regard. He emphasized that doors will be opened in Turkey and internationally for the students, that knowledge will bring people to a higher level, and that there are plans to further expand the program.
In the event, a student who scored 497.5759 in Turkey's final exam won the first prize. He was awarded an Apple laptop, the second and third students received an HP laptop, and the fourth and fifth students received an iPad.
In addition, students with scores of 400 to 420 were awarded 1,000 liras in cash, 2,000 liras were awarded to students with scores of 420 to 450, and 3,000 liras were awarded to all students who scored above 450.
