Malaysian Muslim Youth Movement submits letter about Uyghurs in Thailand

The influential Malaysian Muslim Youth Movement (ABIM) visited the Thai Embassy in Malaysia and submitted a letter regarding 48 Uyghurs at risk of being returned to China.
A delegation led by ABIM President Fahmi Shamsuddin visited the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on January 24. They met with embassy officials and exchanged views about preventing the 48 Uyghurs from being returned to China.
The letter detailed the current critical situation of the East Turkistan people and potential severe consequences if Thailand transfers these Uyghurs to China.
ABIM is an Islamic organization collaborating with the International Union of East Turkistan Organizations, currently working to mobilize the Malaysian government to help rescue the Uyghurs in Thailand.
Despite previous assurances from the Thai Ambassador and Defense Minister that they would not return the 48 Uyghurs to China, ongoing concerns persist due to the upcoming Thai government visit to China. The constant threat of potential deportation remains unresolved.
