Korea, Australia and Taiwan against the DeepSeek platform

The Korean intelligence agency revealed that the Chinese artificial intelligence platform DeepSeek has collected an excessive amount of personal data of users.

According to Nikkei Asia on February 10, the Korean National Security Agency is concerned about the excessive collection of personal data by the Chinese artificial intelligence platform DeepSeek, as the transfer of conversation records and the collection of input data pose security risks.

Some parts of the Korean government have banned the use of artificial intelligence platforms, and Australia and Taiwan have taken similar measures. The Korean National Security Agency also accused DeepSeek of providing different answers to sensitive issues depending on the language used and examining political questions.

China's Foreign Ministry has routinely denied such practices, citing the importance of privacy and personal data security.
