It has been revealed that the former British Prime Minister supported the sale of military equipment to China via AstraZeneca

It has been revealed that former British Prime Minister Liz Truss pressured the UK government last year to sell mine removal equipment to China.
According to "France International News" on January 19, former British Prime Minister Liz Truss has always been known for her strong stance against China. In addition to serving as the UK's Foreign Secretary and Prime Minister, she was also elected as a member of the United Nations Security Council after her resignation. At the same time, Taiwan requested additional weapons to deal with the Chinese threat.
It is worth noting that in May of last year, the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Taiwan Future Fund spent three and a half million dollars to invite Liz Truss to visit Taiwan. At that time, current British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak urged the inclusion of China in the "threats to national security" list and emphasized that Taiwan is at the forefront of the fight for global freedom.
However, documents published by the American politicians' network this week reveal that in August of last year, Liz Truss wrote a private letter to the British Minister of State for Trade, James Biddulph, requesting the expedited sale of defense equipment to China.
In her letter, Truss mentioned that banning the sale of military equipment to China could cost British companies millions of dollars. Even industry workers believe that if the British government does not allow exports, China may replicate British military technology and manufacture the equipment domestically.
The Politician Network news also noted that Richmond Defense Systems, a British defense equipment manufacturing company located in Norfolk, falls within Liz Truss's electoral district.
Security officials in the UK have previously barred the company from exporting mine removal equipment to China. Experts have pointed out that after the United States sold mine planting equipment to Taiwan, if Britain sells mine removal equipment to China, it could be of significant benefit to China in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.
A political network has shown that experts and some members of the Conservative Party have stated that Liz Truss's involvement in this matter could pose a threat to the national interests of both Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
