At a time when US foreign policy is undergoing changes under the Trump administration's leadership, Iran, China, and Russia have begun their annual joint naval exercises.
According to CNN, Iran, China, and Russia began annual joint naval exercises called 'Security Belt 2025' in the Gulf of Oman on March 10. These exercises demonstrate military cooperation at a time when US foreign policy is changing under President Trump's leadership.
These are the fifth such exercises since 2019 and aim to counter American influence. The United States is currently concerned about the strengthening of the strategic alliance between these countries and has described these exercises as an 'axis of authoritarianism.'
Fifteen warships participated in these exercises, which focused on strengthening military confidence through various drills. It's worth noting that these exercises may increase tensions with the United States, especially regarding Iran's nuclear program and US sanctions measures.
