Despite international condemnation of China's genocide against Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples in East Turkistan, particularly regarding forced labor crimes, products of forced labor continued to be transported by rail to European and Central Asian countries over the past year.
According to a January 9 report from Tianshan Net, China's propaganda outlet in East Turkistan:
China-Europe (Central Asia) freight trains through Alataw and Khorgos border crossings reached 16,414 trips in 2024
This represents a 14% increase from 2023
This was promoted as a major achievement
CURRENT RAILWAY ROUTES:
123 China-Europe freight train lines through Alataw border crossing
85 China-Europe freight train lines through Khorgos border crossing

Daily consumer goods
Machinery and electrical equipment

Despite international pressure and sanctions from some countries, China continues its genocide policies in East Turkistan. Reports indicate that forced labor products continue flowing into various countries, including European markets. China's international e-commerce platforms like TEMU and SHEIN, along with expanded rail, road, and air routes in East Turkistan, are facilitating the export of forced labor products.
