Hacking the email of the US ambassador to China

The email of the US ambassador to China was hacked. Chinese hackers linked to the Chinese government were able to hack the email of the US ambassador to Beijing, in order to collect intelligence information.

The "Wall Street Journal" has indicated that hundreds of thousands of government emails located on the US ambassador's account were seized through the hacking operation that took place. The newspaper added that Daniel kreitenbrink, assistant secretary of State for East Asian affairs, was subjected to a similar hack.

The Chinese hacker group called "Storm-0558" took advantage of the US ambassador to Beijing Nicholas Burns, and assistant secretary of State for East Asian affairs Daniel kreitenbrink, to gather intelligence information.

CNN, citing sources close to the matter, reported that the incident in question is part of a "cyber attack on corporate emails in the United States," for which Microsoft and the White House blame China. Microsoft said last week that Chinese hackers had stolen one of its digital keys and exploited a loophole in its code to steal emails from US government agencies and other customers.

It is alleged that spies may have obtained information related to US domestic policy consultations and recent visits of senior American officials to China through intercepted email accounts.

The White House and Microsoft announced on July 12, that there was a cyber attack targeting US institutions and that the attack was carried out by Chinese hackers Sponsored by the Chinese government.

The Chinese authorities seek to establish their control over the world by interfering in the politics and internal affairs of other countries, spying on them and other methods of deception and cunning. The Chinese authorities are using all opportunities and methods in order to control other states, just as they control East Turkistan.
