China plans to further expand its plundering of East Turkistan this year. It aims to implement 500 critical projects focusing on natural resources.
According to the so-called "Xinjiang Newspaper", China plans to launch 500 major projects in East Turkistan this year, with a total investment amount of 3.47 trillion yuan. It is envisaged that 406.9 billion yuan of this will be completed within the annual plan.
The report stated that the number of major projects in East Turkistan increased by 70 projects compared to 2024, that the investment in the annual plan increased by more than 56 billion yuan, and that there was growth in both volume and number.
According to the report, 443 of the 500 major projects focus on natural resources and energy areas such as water resources, power grids, oil-natural gas pipelines, increasing production by increasing oil and natural gas reserves, highly efficient utilization of coal, and new type of electric power system. The remaining 57 projects are related to areas that China is trying to strengthen, such as tourism.
China is constantly increasing its investments in various areas in East Turkistan, and this is done with the so-called "developing Xinjiang, It introduces itself as "helping Xinjiang." However, these investment projects of China basically serve the purpose of quickly and on a large scale plundering the vast natural resources and energy reserves of East Turkistan and transporting them to China, further expanding forced labor centers, and covering up the crimes of genocide in East Turkistan.
