French Senate passes anti-China bill

The French Senate passed the motion aimed at banning the import of products produced by the forced labor of Uyghurs as slaves in East Turkistan. A proposal to ban the import of products resulting from the forced labor of the Uighurs was discussed in the French Senate.

The motion passed by a 144-vote "yes", with some senators abstaining. The resolution also stated that China's systematic policies against the Uyghurs constitute "genocide".
