For the first time, a person with a brain chip used their brain to control a mouse

The first human patient implanted with a brain-chip from Neuralink appears to have fully recovered and is able to control a computer mouse using their thoughts, the startup's founder Elon Musk said late on Monday.

According to CNN's news on February 20, Elon Musk said: "The progress has been very good, the patient's health has completely recovered, and there are no adverse effects that we can feel. "He can control the mouse and move the mouse on the screen with just his imagination." This includes moving the computer mouse up and down.

Neuralink is currently developing a brain implant designed to help severely paralyzed patients control external devices using only nerve signals. The company received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration in May 2023 to conduct clinical studies on humans. Then recruit participants for the experiment. On January 29 of this year, Elon Musk announced on his social media account that Neuralink had completed the surgery to implant a human brain chip and the patient's condition was normal.
