Uyghur activist Abd al-Hakim Idris received the news of the death of his father, Abd al-Karim Dhikrullah Idris, seven months after his death. His wife, Roshan Abbas, said: "Today, after seven months, we learned that my father-in-law, Abd al-Karim Dhikrullah Idris, had passed away in January at the age of 81."
