The Istanbul 24th Heavy Penal Court sentenced three spies, Rui Pan, Abliz Dilyar and Chiang Chen, to 12 years and 6 months in prison for collecting information about East Turkistan in Turkey and providing it to Chinese intelligence officers. Ben Rongwei, Ben Yije and Yusuf Tuna, among the defendants, were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison for the crime of aiding espionage. (Sabah newspaper)
