China's propaganda agency, People's Network, reported on April 21 that a so-called "Xinjiang-related exchange meeting" was held in the main hall of the so-called "Xinjiang Hall" in Beijing. The meeting was attended by 21 ambassadors from 49 countries and more than 50 diplomats in China.
The meeting was attended by Chinese officials, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region," the puppet official of the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region," President Erkin Tuniyaz, and the Vice Minister of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chen Xiaodong.
At the meeting, the puppet official Erkin Tuniyaz spoke and introduced the current situation of East Turkistan: "Xinjiang has developed, people's lives have steadily improved, the various rights and interests of all ethnic groups have been secured, ethnic unity has been continuously strengthened, and various religions are developing harmoniously."
According to Chinese news, embassy officials of some countries based in China spoke at the meeting. Among them, South Africa's ambassador to China, Siabonga Sivele, spoke, and in line with China's false propaganda, he said: "I visited East Turkistan in 2023. I saw that the people there fully enjoyed the freedom of religious belief and lived harmoniously in diversity.
In addition, the ambassadors of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Iran, Pakistan and other countries stationed in China also spoke separately and made statements suitable for China's propaganda.
Since the history of occupation, China has suppressed the people of East Turkistan under various pretexts. In recent years, the so-called "consolidation of the consciousness of the common Chinese nation", "feeding on Chinese culture", "popularizing the common language of the country," "fighting terrorism and ethnic separatism," "under the names of "Sinicization of Islam" and "interpretation of the Holy Quran according to socialism," they have been working to completely destroy the faith, culture, language, and traditions of the East Turkistan people. During this process, millions of Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples were locked up in concentration camps and prisons under various slanders and committed genocide. At the same time, they are trying to hide their crimes by spending a lot of money and using false propaganda.
