Chinese propaganda from Turkish journalists!

China invites foreign media organizations and Turkish journalists to the region in order to reduce the reaction of the world public opinion and to cover up the oppression and genocide policy in East Turkistan, and uses them as tools for Chinese propaganda.
A group of journalists from different media organizations in Turkey went to East Turkistan within the framework of a program previously determined by China upon the special invitation of Guangming Daily, which is supported and managed by the Chinese government and is China's largest daily newspaper.
CHINESE PROPAGANDA BY JOURNALISTS
The journalist group, which continues its 9-day visit under China's supervision, includes 11 journalists from 8 different media organizations in Turkey, such as Yön Haber, Anka, Dim TV, Bir Director, T24, Dışı, Cumhuriyet. Some of the journalists who spoke to the China-backed Guangming Daily ignored the oppression and cruelty in East Turkistan. The Chinese newspaper headlined its newspaper, saying that the journalists said that everyone in East Turkistan lived happily and contentedly.
THEY IGNORED THE UYGHUR GENOCIDE
The internet editor-in-chief of the Cumhuriyet newspaper said in a statement to the Chinese newspaper, “Today, everyone is smiling in Ürümçi, which means they are happy, which is completely different from what we hear from some Western media”; while the Editor-in-Chief of the Dışı news page said, “When I saw so many people walking and shopping with smiles on their faces, I was impressed by the peacefulness of Ürümçi”, thus serving Chinese propaganda in Ürümçi, where the Uyghur Turk population is decreasing.
CHINA’S CULTURAL GENOCIDE IN EAST TURKISTAN WAS IGNORED
On the other hand, the DiM TV presenter said, “Here, people wear national clothes and introduce their own culture to tourists from all over the world. This is a very special situation for a country and region," thus ignoring China’s cultural genocide in East Turkistan.
WHAT IS CHINA’S AIM?
The reason for China to gather journalists from Turkey and visit East Turkistan was clearly stated in a speech to the participants of the trip by Yang Gu, Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese newspaper Guangming, who organized the trip.
Yang Gu stated, "We hope that the so-called "Xinjiang" stories written by our Turkish guests will be widely disseminated in Turkish society. You can help people in Turkey have a more comprehensive and objective understanding of the real Xinjiang in China." and clearly stated that they were inviting Chinese propaganda.
The team of Australia's world-famous television channel ABC, which had to visit places completely under China's control and permission in recent years, reported that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was trying to turn East Turkistan into a tourism spot after years of brutal oppression. In a special report published by ABC on September 30, 2023, it was reported that East Turkistan was isolated from the world as a result of China's pressure. It was emphasized that since the genocidal Xi Jinping's visit to East Turkistan in 2014, when he ordered a "hard attack" against so-called terrorism, the pressures in East Turkistan had increased and were documented by international media channels.
