Chinese people are planning to flee abroad due to economic recession

Due to the slowdown in China’s economy and high unemployment rate, young Chinese people who have lost hope of finding a job in China are not planning to emigrate.
According to a report by Voice of America, young Chinese graduates are unable to find jobs that match their majors, making it more difficult to find other types of jobs. As a result, some have been forced to work as food delivery workers. Due to the difficulty of finding jobs, young Chinese people have begun to explore opportunities abroad.
Currently, China’s economy continues to deteriorate, and the youth unemployment rate remains high. According to official Chinese data, although the youth unemployment rate fell slightly last month, it has been above 17% for four consecutive months.
China’s Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced that the number of college graduates next year will reach 12.222 million, setting a new record—430,000 more than this year. This situation will put greater pressure on the job market. Many Chinese experts have acknowledged that leaving China is the best choice for young people to find a way out.
