Chinese officials in East Turkistan are being investigated

After the visit of Chinese Communist Party Leader (CCP) Xi Jinping to Urumqi, it drew attention that no investigation had been initiated against some high-ranking Chinese officials in East Turkistan.
According to a report dated September 1st from the Chinese propaganda agency Tianshan Net, Ma Guoqiang, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Political-Legal Committee of the so-called "Xinjiang People's Government" in East Turkistan, has been punished for disciplinary violations.
According to information, Ma Guoqiang is currently under investigation by the Discipline Inspection Committee and the Supervision Committee of the so-called Xinjiang Party Committee.

Furthermore, it was reported that Sao Jing, a member and deputy director of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision Administration of the so-called "Xinjiang People's Government," is also under investigation for disciplinary and serious violations of the law by the Discipline Inspection Committee and the Supervision Committee.
