Chinese invasion became a hot topic in Arab Media

The persecution carried out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime against Muslims living in East Turkistan, a 74-year-long oppression, religious suppression, punishment camps designed to make them give up their national and spiritual values, and even the implementation of "systematic genocide" have once again been brought to the forefront on Arab media channels.
Prominent Arab media channels such as Al Jazeera, Watan, and Al Rafidain television channels, during the 74th year of the Chinese occupation, aired live coverage of the "We are telling the story of the East Turkistan genocide!" themed art exhibition and cultural promotion events that took place in Istanbul from September 29 to October 8. They organized discussions on the subject and conveyed the pain and suffering of the Muslim Uyghur Turks to the Islamic world.
During the event, prominent figures, including Mr. Abdulvaris Hoten, the President of the East Turkistan Press and Media Association (Istiqlal Media Group), gave separate interviews to the press. They emphasized that China has openly declared war against Islam, and the systematic genocide being carried out against Muslims is the official state policy of Communist Party-led China. They highlighted that in East Turkistan, all Muslims are completely prohibited from practicing their religious freedom and performing their fundamental religious duties, which China enforces under the guise of "Sinicization of Religion." They pointed out that since 2016, China has detained 8 million people from all walks of life in Chinese-style detention camps, including religious scholars, community leaders, scientists, academics, artists, and craftsmen. They further stated that during this period, satellite images have confirmed the destruction or desecration of 16,000 mosques, emphasizing the need for the Islamic world to take a stand on the issue of East Turkistan. They made it clear that as long as East Turkistan remains unfree, the suffering will not cease, and the East Turkistan Diaspora is tirelessly working toward this goal. Additionally, they noted that visitors to the event would have the opportunity to understand the hardships faced by the oppressed people by visiting torture chambers, exhibition rooms, and memorial rooms.
It has been a year since the release of the United Nations Human Rights High Commissioner's report on East Turkistan, and the issue of East Turkistan has been extensively covered in various media outlets. However, the inability of international organizations and countries to take strong measures against the inhumane persecution in East Turkistan has emboldened China's brutality. The international community's responses to China's massive crimes have been woefully inadequate. While China promotes the region as a "tourist paradise" on the surface, it continues to commit systematic genocide behind the scenes.
