The Arab delegation that visited East Turkistan in accordance with China's plan, which lies in deceiving the International and Islamic community, was deceived by China's repressive policies, which the latter is trying to hide its brutal crimes and tries to portray them in the best way. Urumqi, June 3, 2023 (Xinhua) a delegation of diplomats and representatives of the league of Arab states visited East Turkestan, which China has named "Xinjiang", during the period between May 30 and June 2, where the delegation visited the cities of Kashgar and Urumqi, and reviewed the developments of local economic, social and cultural development in the region.

The members of the delegation consisting of 34 officials were present at the eighteenth session of the senior officials 'meeting and the seventh session of the senior officials' political-strategic dialogue of the recently concluded forum of China-Arab cooperation.the delegation visited a number of destinations in East Turkestan. the members of the delegation were impressed by the good socio-economic development in the region, praising stability, harmony, rapid economic growth, prosperous and diverse culture and the happy life of local citizens, stressing that the situation in the region is different from what some Western media portray.

Mohammed Haj Ibrahim, director of the Afro-Asian affairs department at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates, confirmed that what some media outlets are circulating is completely untrue, referring to the integrated and modern infrastructure enjoyed by the local population, and the efforts made by the local government to support economic development, ensure job opportunities for citizens, and secure basic necessities, and said that"what I have heard through some media is completely contrary to reality, because the obvious truth that is before us here is that Xinjiang (East Turkistan) is a very beautiful region.

After watching an exhibition on combating (East Turkistan) terrorism and extremism in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang region (East Turkistan), Haji Ibrahim said that China has made constructive contributions to the fight against terrorism and extremism, and international cooperation on combating terrorism should be strengthened as well as the exchange of relevant information and experiences.

The delegation visited the Eid Kah Mosque and the ancient town of Kashgar, which is located 1500 km southwest of the city of Urumqi. Ambassador Dr.Mohamed Mustafa Kamal Mohamed Arefi, permanent representative of Egypt to the league of Arab states, head of the Arab side of the delegation, expressed his pleasure to see the strong infrastructure in Kashgar, praising China's achievements in fighting poverty.

The delegation praised China's efforts in renovating the old town of Kashgar at a cost of 7 billion yuan (about 987 million US dollars), which is a famous ancient city on the Silk Road with a history of more than 2000 years.

After concluding the visit to the International Land Port of Urumqi and other destinations in the city, Ambassador Arfi expressed his admiration for the comprehensive infrastructure in Xinjiang (East Turkestan), saying that what he saw exceeded expectations.
