The Communist regime in China, which has been systematically implementing genocide against Uyghurs and other Muslim ethnic groups, including Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, and Uzbeks, in East Turkistan (Xinjiang) for many years, has recently begun to subject people from the Tibetan ethnic group to assimilation efforts and oppression.
According to information from the Bitter Winter News website, on September 4th, a senior official of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Qin Wenqing, visited the Gansu province of China before his scheduled visit to the central city of Urumqi. During this visit, he gave instructions for Tibetans in the region to be oppressed similarly to the Uyghurs.
As it is known, during his sudden visit to Urumqi on August 26th, Xi Jinping, who is accused of crimes against humanity, urged local officials to effectively control illegal religious activities in East Turkistan and promote the sinicization of Islam more deeply. He also emphasized the acceleration of services to encourage both domestic and foreign tourists to visit East Turkistan, strengthening the common consciousness of the Chinese nation, promoting Xinjiang's (China's) culture, ensuring lasting stability, and strengthening the fight against terrorism and separatism.
The order to increase mass oppression
Qin Wenqing, the Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), recently visited the Gansu province of China and issued an order to increase mass oppression there.
According to information, Qin Wenqing visited the Gannan Tibetan Region, which is part of Gansu Province and home to more than 400,000 Tibetans, constituting 57% of the city's population. During his visit, he emphasized the adoption of the party government's policies and conveyed to local officials that the central government expects them to "promote Chinese modernization." He also expressed his hope to combat separatism and superstitions to create a safe and stable social environment.
Tibetan Crackdown Begins in China
In his speech, Qin Wenqing indicated that, similar to the genocide policy against the people of East Turkistan (Xinjiang), Tibetans in Gansu are also subjected to systematic assimilation. Wenqing also visited the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in Gansu, where he emphasized the importance and necessity of China's so-called "sinicization of Islam" policy for the Dungan Muslims. He threatened Muslims that those who oppose the central government's policies would face severe punishment. Later, he moved on to the city of Hezuo. It is expected that the Chinese official will visit East Turkistan (Xinjiang) in the coming days.
