The Chinese regime, which has been continuously implementing all kinds of pressures, including religious pressures, in East Turkistan for years, has announced so-called new measures for the management of religious activities that will be officially implemented as of September 1 this year in order to further strengthen these pressures.

According to China Network's August 4 report, China's newly published so-called "Measures for the Management of Places of Religious Activity" consists of 10 sections and 76 articles. Although the Chinese regime states that the purpose of implementing this measure is "to improve the management system of religious activity venues, to implement democratic governance, and to govern religion according to the communist party," this time the plan to be implemented focuses on further strengthening the Chinese Communist regime's propaganda in religious event venues.

The Chinese regime, which announced "Administrative Measures for Places of Religious Activity" in 2005, is again looking to tighten the management of already tightly controlled religious sites, in addition to using mosques and other places of religious activity as propaganda sites for the Chinese Communist Party.

Observers say the Chinese regime's genocidal policy in Xinjiang for years has continued to increase, and the pressure on Muslims has multiplied since the legalization of the so-called "Sinicization of Islam" terror policy in Xinjiang in 2015. In the five years from 2018 to 2022, it has completely banned everything related to religion and forced people to renounce Islam altogether.
