China punishes former US congressman

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement: "In recent years, former US House of Representatives member Mike Gallagher has often interfered in China's internal affairs, undermined China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and made statements and actions that violated China's interests." China's Ministry of Commerce is reported to have released the so-called "Untrustworthy Entity List Working Mechanism" in 2024, including US General Atomics Aerospace Systems, General Dynamics Land Systems, Boeing Defense, Aerospace It placed companies such as Space and Security Group on the list of untrustworthy entities, and the decision banned the three companies from engaging in China-related import and export activities, making new investments in China, and prohibiting their senior executives from entering China.
