Australia Accuses Chinese Fighter Jet of Dangerous Maneuver

Australia has accused Chinese warplanes of dangerously targeting an Australian military helicopter operating in international waters with flares.
According to Voice of America News, Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles said in a statement on May 6 that a Chinese fighter jet attacked an Australian military helicopter in the international waters of the Yellow Sea and harmed the safety of people on board.
According to the United States News Agency, the Australian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the incident took place on May 4. The Royal Australian Navy's destroyer HMAS Hobart was in the international maritime zone in the Yellow Sea to implement UN Security Council sanctions against North Korea.
