China has launched a massive false propaganda campaign about East Turkistan, mobilizing its propaganda power to conceal the crimes of occupation and racial genocide in East Turkistan.
According to a report in the so-called "Xinjiang Daily," the so-called "Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Uyghur Autonomous Region" began a visit on May 14 under the theme "Viewing Xinjiang from the Perspective of Great State Building." The report claimed that this activity is an "exceptionally large-scale construction" conducted by the state and "of great strategic significance and profound influence."
From the report's details, it is clear that this large-scale activity is intended to promote false Chinese propaganda. The visit will focus on transferring natural gas, electricity, and coal from East Turkistan to China, and large-scale construction projects in areas such as transportation and irrigation. It will also promote points such as China's development of East Turkistan, improving people's livelihoods, and unity among ethnic groups, and declare that the Chinese regime has fully and comprehensively implemented the policies and measures for governing East Turkistan.
The report stated that starting May 14, the so-called "comprehensive media group," composed of correspondents from China and East Turkistan, will travel to different locations in East Turkistan separately. They will use new technologies and formats, applying various methods such as live broadcasts, photos, text, graphics, audio, and video, to produce "impactful" propaganda.
For years, China has devoted enormous expenditures and efforts to false propaganda to conceal the ethnic genocide in East Turkistan, organizing activities such as short film and story contests under themes such as "telling the story of Xinjiang well." This year, China has intensified its false propaganda campaigns to a new level under the pretext of preparing for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region."
