According to reports, the heavy rains in Guangdong caused the sea and river water to rise and turn into a flood. Chinese media called the flood a "once-in-a-hundred-year disaster."
Photos taken from Qingyuan City, Guangdong, show that buildings near the river were flooded due to flooding.
According to Xinhua News Agency, a total of 110,000 Chinese in Guangdong Province have been dispersed to other areas since the start of this heavy rain.
Videos on social media showed Chinese people being dispersed and many people trapped in the floodwaters. It is estimated that the direct economic damage caused by the flood will reach 140 million yuan.
