China is retaliating against Uyghur activists

China has been pressuring the Uyghur activists in the diaspora who are exposing the crimes of genocide in East Turkistan, forcing them to remain silent. The father of the activist, Mr. Abdurrehim Gheni, who has been defying various threats, was victimized by the Chinese in the prison camp.
On September 19, Mr. Abdulrehim Ghani received the news that his father died suddenly in the prison camp. The Chinese, who failed to conquer his son, took revenge on his father. Mr. Abdurrehim told the television that his father's death and the genocide in East Turkistan were mentioned in his Friday sermon at the mosque of the Dutch religion yesterday. A funeral prayer was also offered in the mosque for his father.
Mr. Abdurrehim Gheni, like the majority of Uyghurs living abroad, has not been able to contact his father, Gheni Khudberdi, since 2017 due to the genocide committed by China in East Turkistan. On July 6 this year, the Chinese police threatened Mr. Abdurrehim's brother by calling him, and pressured him not to testify at the trial of Xi Jinping at the World Civil Court in The Hague, the Netherlands, in July. Later, Abdurrehim did not answer his brother's phone call. After this ploy failed, China took his father out of the prison camp and advised him not to testify in court. Mr. Abdurrehim, who did not give in to China's pressure, testified in court about China's crimes.
Mr. Abdurrehim also revealed this tragic video in court at the World Civil Court, providing strong evidence of China's crimes. Unsuccessful, the Chinese returned the sick Ghani Khudbardi to the prison camp.
Mr. Abdurrehim made a statement on his Facebook account: "I am deeply saddened to hear the news of my father's death in the detention camp of the Chinese invaders. But the news of my father's death did not purify me spiritually, but rather increased my anger against the invading China and gave me spiritual energy against the invading China. This wretch increased my courage to continue my struggle against the invading China. The most important thing is that it has strengthened my hope to achieve a bright dawn and has an unshakable spirit to move towards the destination of victory.
