China is making great efforts to brainwash Uyghur youth and people
The Chinese government, in order to Sinicize and control the Uyghur youths, sent members of the Chinese Communist Party to the schools in East Turkistan to promote Uyghur youths and forced them to watch a film called "Historical Lies of Xinjiang."
According to the November 10th issue of the Chinese daily newspaper, in recent years, the Chinese government, specifically in the city of Kucha, has organized party members, cadres, students, and educators in primary and middle schools to watch a false history film called "Historical Memories of Xinjiang."
This documentary, titled "Xinjiang History," comprises 60 episodes, including "Returning from the West to the Homeland," "The Mysterious Genji," "The Ancient City of Lulan," "Subashi Buddhist Temple," "Western Migration," "Revolutionary Autu," "Ali the General," "Music and Art of the Western Region," "Silk Road," and "The Judicial System of the Western Region," among others. These documentaries were produced by the Chinese regime using fake cultural relics to brainwash Uyghur youth about history, ethnicity, culture, and religion.
Promoting these narratives by the Chinese regime isn’t limited to collaboration with schools; it’s aggressive dissemination, exerting financial and human resources. Currently, in at least 12 cities in the Kucha region, they’ve formed groups to produce films, organizing the creation of the documentary "Xinjiang History" across various domains—markets, neighborhoods, schools, and other public spaces—resulting in the mandatory viewing of this film 4,826 times, affecting over 724,000 individuals.
A part of the heinousness of the ethnic cleansing by the Chinese regime in East Turkistan includes depriving Uyghur youths of their language, writings, beliefs, and culture. Through the manipulation of propaganda films themed around "Unity of Nationalities" and "Uyghurs can’t separate from China, China can’t separate from Uyghurs," they persist in enforcing a policy of assimilation and the suppression of the Uyghur ethnic identity in East Turkistan.
