China is hiding genocide through tourism

While China continues to commit genocide against Uyghurs in East Turkistan, on the other hand, it is trying to hide the genocide by turning East Turkistan into a major tourist destination.
According to the French International News on August 15th, China has continued to commit genocide by imprisoning millions of Uyghurs, but it has tried to improve its international image by hiding the crime of developing tourism.
A person interviewed by "Ichki Shwast" newspaper on the condition of anonymity revealed the situation. When he visited for the first time in 2019, he said that East Turkistan was like a city divided into several regions. Everywhere you look, you can see armed police. By 2023, the previous strict surveillance and the control system seems to have disappeared, he said that the policemen who were transferred from China have not yet left East Turkistan, and they are secretly monitoring the people. He said: "When we had to go through strict checkpoints and be constantly checked, the area did not give us the impression of a peaceful and prosperous area."
At the end of his speech, he also revealed that although China tried to simplify the colorful and rich culture of Uyghurs in the tourist areas of East Turkistan, the repression against Uyghurs is still serious.
At present, genocide crimes in various forms, such as population restriction, assimilation, forced labor, prison camps and prisons, and religious repression, continue in East Turkistan. But China is avoiding the crime of genocide by opening up a small number of pre-prepared areas in East Turkistan to tourists, deceiving the eyes of the international community. To achieve this evil goal, China increased the budget of the Culture and Tourism Bureau in East Turkistan by 90% from 2021 to 2022.
