China holds trade cooperation meeting with Uzbekistan in East TurkIstan

On April 30, the so-called "Xinjiang-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Meeting" was held in Urumqi, and Uzbek Prime Minister Aripov attended the meeting.

According to reports from Chinese media outlets, Ma Xingrui announced at the meeting that China-Uzbek friendship has a history of thousands of years, that bilateral relations have reached a new level, that local governments in East Turkistan and Uzbekistan have close ties, and that cooperation in all fields will be further strengthened in the future.

Uzbek Prime Minister Aripov also attended the meeting and delivered a speech. According to Chinese news reports, Aripov said that in the current complex and changing global economic situation, Uzbekistan is actively seeking new development opportunities, that China is Uzbekistan's most important investor and trading partner, that China's investment in Uzbekistan has continued to increase, and that the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project has begun. He also invited companies and enterprises in the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region" to invest and cooperate in Uzbekistan.

Representatives of Chinese and Uzbek business and trade associations also attended the meeting, and delivered speeches in turn, introducing and discussing cooperation in areas such as trade, culture and tourism, health, energy, chemical industry, mineral resources and electronics.

In recent years, China has taken every possible measure to increase its influence in Central Asian countries, and the Turkic republics are gradually becoming economically dependent on China. Analysts warn that China's future goal is to completely control and absorb the Central Asian countries.
