The Chinese government held a meeting this year on the settlement and attraction of civilian enterprises in East Turkistan in Beijing on February 28, with the aim of fully demarcating East Turkistan and expanding the scope of forced labor in the region.
According to the Tengri Tagh network, on February 28, the contract was signed on February 28 for the "Community Definition of Projects for the Contribution of Civil Enterprises in the Development of Southern Xinjiang by 2025" jointly sponsored by the so-called "Government of the Uyghur Autonomous Region" and the "Production and Construction Division" (and the paramilitary forces directly under Beijing) under the slogan "Integrating the force of the division with the local people, developing Xinjiang through industry."
The report said that the introductory meeting aims to encourage and direct more civil enterprises to invest in East Turkistan, especially in the southern regions, through the establishment of the "Help Xinjiang" activity platform.
During the meeting, the Ministry of Natural Resources presented the so-called "Uyghur Self-Government Region" projects from cities in the three provinces and provinces in South East Turkistan. These projects include about 1,270 projects in the fields of culture and tourism, agriculture, forestry, livestock breeding, processing of fish products, and industry, with a total value of 870 billion.
According to the report, the meeting was attended by more than 300 people, including representatives of the China Business and Industry Association, business and industry associations in Beijing and Hebei and Tianjin Province, representatives of business associations directly affiliated with them, and member companies, as well as representatives of the "Xinjiang Business Association in Beijing" and their member companies.
As part of the genocide in East Turkistan, on the one hand, China is intensifying detentions in concentration camps and prisons, and on the other hand, the labor unions organized by the Chinese government are organizing Chinese companies in various parts of East Turkistan under the name of "poverty relief" and "local employment" and imposing forced labor on the local population in various ways. Chinese labor unions have played an important role in subjecting Uyghurs to forced labor on a large scale, and these organizations are now in direct contact with Chinese companies and sell Uyghur labor to these companies at low prices.
The Chinese government has criminalized internment camps and forced labor under the name of "vocational training." In addition to Chinese transportation companies, the Chinese government is working to fully settle East Turkistan by attracting Chinese settlers with high salaries, free housing, free land and other privileges to settle in East Turkistan.
