"China, while continuing ethnic genocide crimes in East Turkistan, invited multiple countries to hold the 2025 (China) Asia-Europe Trade Fair in Urumqi.
The aforementioned fair, lasting from June 26 to June 30, was held at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Urumqi, which China had been specially preparing and promoting for several months.
According to Chinese news reports, more than 1,800 companies from 50 countries participated in the fair, more than 1,000 companies joined related meetings, and over 8,000 buyers from Chinese provinces and foreign countries gathered. During the fair, over 60 trade promotion activities were planned. The fair was also open to the public.
At the opening ceremony, Ma Xingrui and puppet official Erkin Tuniyaz, among the main perpetrators of ethnic genocide, spoke and proclaimed that the Chinese regime had developed East Turkistan through various policies, created trade opportunities, and that this trade fair would showcase the economic and social development achievements of the so-called 'Uyghur Autonomous Region.'
One day before the fair began, China also opened a 2025 investment promotion meeting in Urumqi with the theme 'Connecting Asia-Europe, Investing in China, Entering Xinjiang.' At the meeting, terror policy phrases such as 'governing Xinjiang according to law, stabilizing it, and nourishing it through culture' were repeated.
China continues to implement ethnic genocide against Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples in East Turkistan without stopping, including forced labor crimes that are continuously criticized by the international community, with numerous reports being published one after another. However, apart from the 'Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act' currently being implemented by the US government, there are no practical actions to stop these crimes. Taking advantage of this opportunity, China uses means like the Asia-Europe Trade Fair to achieve benefits in economics and trade on one hand, while covering up ethnic genocide crimes on the other. Many countries and international companies are becoming complicit in these crimes."
