China has launched a new campaign to invite Han settlers to East Turkistan

China has launched a new initiative to recruit 1000 PhDs from Chinese provinces to East Turkistan, under the guise of "recruiting professional staff" and "inviting specialized doctors," as part of its plan to fully sinicize East Turkistan and further exploit its natural resources.
According to Tengritagh Network, the so-called "Plan to Bring in 1000 Specialized PhDs to Xinjiang" was launched in Shenzhen on January 16th, with initial plans to recruit no less than 1000 PhDs.
The report states this plan was jointly implemented by Shenzhen's "Xinjiang Targeted Aid Work Front Command Post," the "Xinjiang" Specialists Development Group Co. Ltd., and Shenzhen City Specialists Group Co. Ltd. The launch meeting was attended by staff from student affairs departments of major Chinese universities, including Shenzhen University, Southern University of Science and Technology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, and nearly 100 PhDs.
This recruitment focuses on East Turkistan's core industries, including oil and natural gas, coal, mineral resources, and agriculture.
China increased the scale of this campaign in early 2023, and in early 2024, special work teams were organized across East Turkistan and sent to numerous universities in Chinese provinces. These teams encouraged Chinese people at various universities to settle in East Turkistan under the name of "recruiting specialists."
In recent years, China has exiled large numbers of Uyghurs to Chinese provinces under the name of "transferring surplus laborers for employment" while simultaneously settling Han Chinese migrants in East Turkistan under various pretexts.
Observers note that China continues to intensify its campaign of bringing in Han Chinese settlers through special high benefits and various programs, as part of its malicious goal to completely absorb and sinicize East Turkistan's territory while suppressing the people of East Turkistan through methods including oppression, forced labor, and exile.
